A vial label carries more information per square centimetre than anything else in a packaging project, and it has to survive condensation, refrigeration, alcohol wipes and repeated handling.
Waterproof film facestocks, adhesives matched to the temperature the vial is at when the label goes on, variable data for batch and lot numbers, and layouts built so barcodes still scan at 20 mm tall.
Not every option suits every structure — a deep emboss needs rigid board, and foam partly defeats the flat-shipping advantage of a folding carton. We will tell you which combinations actually work together.
We work in SBS and kraft paperboard, rigid chipboard, corrugated board and recyclable paper-based stocks, with EVA foam, formed plastic trays and moulded pulp for inserts.
What we will not do is describe a box as recyclable when it has a plastic window patch, a foam insert and a magnetic closure in it. If single-stream paper recycling matters to you, we will specify a build that genuinely achieves it — an aqueous coating instead of a laminate, a paperboard or moulded pulp insert, and an open die-cut instead of a film window — and tell you plainly what you give up in protection.

Every cavity is cut from your actual vial. We fit-test with the real thing before a run is released, and if a sample rattles we change it rather than shipping it.
Foam is not automatically better than paperboard. If a die-cut insert does the job for a third of the cost, that is what we will quote and what we will say.
We quote the same job in two or three constructions so the cost difference is visible before you commit, including what each one costs to ship.

Send us the vial and tell us two things: how many go in a box, and whether the box ships on its own or inside an outer case. Those three pieces of information are enough for us to propose a structure, an insert and a board specification.

We quote low minimums so that pilot runs and new products are practical. The exact figure depends on the structure, material and finishing you choose, because setup costs differ considerably between a folding carton and a rigid box. It is confirmed with your quote rather than being a single site-wide number.
Yes, and on anything with a fitted insert we recommend it. A physical sample lets you seat your actual vial in the actual cavity, which is the only reliable way to confirm fit. Screen proofs cannot show you that, and they cannot show you soft-touch texture or foil either.
It depends far more on structure than on quantity. A printed folding carton and a wrapped rigid box holding the same vials can differ severalfold. Setup costs also mean the unit price falls sharply as quantity rises.
We will quote the same job in two or three structures so the difference is visible rather than assumed.
It is by far the most reliable input. Calliper measurements work if they include body diameter, cap diameter and total height over the cap, but shoulder profile is difficult to describe and easy to get wrong. Postage costs less than a mis-cut insert.
Yes, and it is worth doing. Cartons and labels are different substrates and reproduce colour differently, so producing them together with a shared spot colour reference gets the two as close as the materials allow.
No. Packaging is a component; it does not create regulatory compliance. What must appear on your packaging and labelling, and whether your product may lawfully be supplied, are matters for you and your regulatory advisers.
We print artwork you supply and approve, and we check it for production issues only.
We preflight every file for bleed, resolution, colour space, fold clearance, registration risk and barcode sizing, and we will flag anything likely to cause a production problem. We do not review content for accuracy, claims or regulatory requirements.
No, and we would treat any supplier who does without testing your configuration with caution. Thermal performance depends on your product mass, your coolant, your route, your duration and the season. We build the components and supply samples so you can validate the complete packed configuration yourself.
